The City of West Hollywood was once part of “Sherman” in 1922 or later called the “Cahuenga Valley”. Once water delivery came to the area there was expansion dividing properties and selling lots. Moses Sherman and his Brother Eli Clark developed much of the area which was the center of railways. West Hollywood voted for incorporation in 1984 and has been continuing to redevelop the area.
