4th of July Holmby Hills Westwood community parade and picnic is put on by the HWPOA (Holmby Westwood Property Owners Association). This event is sponsored by local vendors, realtors, service providers etc. Additionally, sponsors like Target provide beverages. Also ACS Security provides an amazing hot dog grill with condiments and chips. SAS Security provides games and art. We are fortunate to have local homeowners that contribute to sponsor the event.  opportunity for those in the neighborhood to volunteer and participate.   Neighbors come out to give out cookies, and help with art projects etc.

I have been organizing this event for years. It is such a pleasure to get community out to meet with neighbors and make new friends. As a homeowner, realtor, and organizer I love this neighborhood and it is easy to convey to clients what makes this such a wonderful place to live . Hopefully this tradition will go on for many more years to come.

Thus, this event really brings together community and helps make the neighborhood so popular. Most noteworthy, the amazing outfits the kids dress up in. Fabulous 4th of July music accompanies local firetrucks and police.

This year marks the 21st parade. In the past ,we have had sponsors like UCLA and Occidental Petroleum. If you’d like to sponsor, please contact me. What fabulous art projects we had this year. Additionally, there are  bounce houses for the kids to play, cornhole games, connect 4 etc. Little Holmby is located on the East side of UCLA. Furthermore, the local school, Warner Ave Elementary sits in the center of tree lined streets with exceptional homes.

With todays busy lives, its great to have an event like this that promotes community . Furthermore, its great to take time, and just appreciate this beautiful neighborhood
